Photomontage Artists

Erin Case: This is a photomontage used up of different images to portray feelings. This is a digital version of one of her works, it is produced by layering and filling loads of images into one to create a final piece. Erin Case’s work can inspire me as I can create a similar type of digital montage to support and raise awareness of human rights and to show peoples feelings in certain environments and climates which don’t get the attention they need. She is a artist who likes to add perspective in her work too, so her work can link in with what I want my outcomes to look like.

John Hartfield: Hartfield’s work is mainly themed around politics but his work can still inspire mine as I want to raise awareness and support for humanity, politics plays a big part in the world we live in and his work can be very similar to mine from a political and corrupt point of view of the world. His work is often finished off as an older version of a photomontage with the colours he uses being mostly black and white.

Brandalism – Research and Practice

My aim is to raise awareness of how our products are actually getting made and how its all a dark money making scheme. A huge example is the Nike sweatshops and how they use child labor. A sweatshop is where workers are employed to manufacture mainly clothing items at a very low wage and under poor conditions. Nike was accused of using these workshops since the 1970’s.
